I then went through the 3rd process of trying to register from another device, and sent the info from my Mac. This could be due to network congestion of server failure. When I tried to register from within the product, both the Serial Number and Computer ID appear, and although it appears the data set is indeed being sent to the server for authentication, I get an error dialogue that states:ĮRROR: An error occurred while communicating with the server. ![]() If necessary, use the product registration directly from within your MAGIX product. I entered the Serial number (which I found on the Sony site), and pasted, then typed, the number along with "Sony Creative Software" as the POS. There is no "My Products" link for my products so I went to the Product Registration page. Yes, I went to the Magix site and logged in.
